FUNDING: We do not assess dues, nor do we charge for admission to our meetings. This website and our periodic publications are funded through generous donations from individual Yolo Prostate Cancer Support Group participants, to whom we extend our gratitude.

We are grateful to the Woodland Community and Senior Center and to the Yolo County Library for letting us hold our meetings in their facilities in the past, and we look forward to eventual resumption of in-person meetings when public health protocols enable us to do so.

The YOLO PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP, established in Yolo County, California, in March 2006, welcomes men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, have recurrent disease, or have an interest or expertise in the topic. We serve residents of Davis, Woodland, Winters, West Sacramento, Dixon, Esparto and other communities in Yolo, Sacramento and Solano counties.

Many of our meetings include presentations by experts. Our guest speakers have included urologists, oncologists, radiation therapists, medical research scientists and other practitioners. We also schedule roundtable discussions to enable men who are recently diagnosed or merely curious to learn from the experiences of men who have been treated for prostate cancer or are being monitored through watchful waiting.
