Welcome to the Yolo Prostate Cancer Support Group.
We’re here to help each other.

Next meeting:
Monday, January 8, 2024
7:00–8:30 p.m. in Woodland
Physical therapist Maireed Brown will discuss the value of pelvic floor therapy

If you're a man who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, or are confronting disease recurrence, the roundtable discussions at our meetings may help bring clarity to your decision about how to proceed.

The Yolo Prostate Cancer Support Group invites men, as well as their spouses and family members, to meet with prostate cancer survivors to learn about treatment options, and their experiences with recovery and side effects. The support group, established in 2006, is composed of volunteers; attendance and informative handout materials, as available, are free of charge.

FUNDING: We do not assess dues, nor do we charge for admission to our meetings. This website and our periodic publications are funded through generous donations from individual Yolo Prostate Cancer Support Group participants, to whom we extend our gratitude.

We are grateful to the Woodland Community and Senior Center and to the Yolo County Library for letting us hold our meetings in their facilities in the past, and we look forward to eventual resumption of in-person meetings when public health protocols enable us to do so.
